Fundraising ideas

We never want cost to be the reason a student misses out on camp. While we don’t offer centralized fundraising, many families successfully raise funds by getting creative and inviting others to partner with them.

Here are a few simple ideas that have worked well for MV families:

• Yard Work and House Help
Offer services like yard cleanup, car washing, babysitting, dog walking, or helping with small projects for neighbors and family.

• Letter and Text Support
Encourage your student to write a short note or send a text sharing why camp matters to them and inviting friends and family to support them financially or through prayer.

• Garage Sale or Online Marketplace
Selling unused items is a great way to raise funds quickly while clearing space at home.

• Small Business Support
If you own or work for a business, consider offering a service or product with a portion of proceeds going toward camp costs.

• Family Match Giving
Some families choose to match whatever their student raises as a way to encourage ownership and participation.

Every dollar raised is more than financial support—it’s an investment in what God is doing in your student’s life.
